Now is the best time to buy books.
Why?
The US Dollar and Pound Sterling are at all time highs against the Australian Dollar.
What does this mean?
This means that books currently in stock are generally cheaper than new books bought in at current exchange rates.
Therefore?
You should contact your favourite bookstore NOW!
Less than one month ago we sold one book for A$43.95. We have just received the replacement stock at a recommended retail price of A$88.00–more then double the previous price.
How is this?
We were staggered, but when we investigated, we found the USA price had increased to US$35.00, and when you add the freight and calculate the exchange rate, and add the 10% GST on the higher price, the new price is not a rip off–just quite expensive.The Answer?
Seriously consider buying now if your bookstore has the book in stock at the old rate!We have thousands of books in this category.
